Bard College Berlin is a small liberal arts college in a big city: Berlin, Germany. Students at BCB come from all around the world to obtain BA degrees in subjects across the social sciences, practicing arts, and humanities in small seminar classrooms with a strong emphasis on active and engaged learning. They live and study together on a residential campus while learning how to foster an international community and how to explore the array of artistic, cultural, and political offerings within Berlin. The foundation of the degree program is a series of six core courses, which provide an overview of the key texts and debates at the origin of philosophy, literature, art history, economics, and the social and natural sciences.
