College of Wooster
With nearly 2,000 students from over 75 countries and 48 states, The College of Wooster offers over 100 programs of study, and every Wooster student works one-on-one with a faculty mentor to complete a significant research project on a topic of the student's own choosing during the senior year. Through this distinctive program, along with funded internships, service learning, and leadership opportunities in over 120 student-run organizations, our students develop abilities valued most by employers and graduate schools alike: independent judgement, analytical ability, creativity, project-management and time-management skills, and strong written and oral communication skills.

Since 2002, U.S. News has asked college presidents and deans which colleges provide the best undergraduate research opportunities and senior capstone experiences. Only two schools have made both lists each year: Wooster and Princeton.
