At McMurry University, you'll find small classes, caring professors, and a diverse and active student body with 1,200 students and an 12:1 student to faculty ratio. Our students compete in 22 intercollegiate sports including football, swimming, and esports (with over 40 conference championships in the last 25 years, go War Hawks!), lead over 40 clubs and organizations, and engage with our community in more than 24,000 service hours each year. In the classroom, students like you are able to put their education into practice, whether by managing our completely student-run investment fund of $1,000,000 from the university’s endowment, researching the metastasis of breast cancer (pink lab coats and all), assisting with COVID-19 vaccination clinics through our Nursing School, or observing in the magnet classroom of 5th graders on campus.
